Immunization Requirements

Grade 7 Students Must Have a Whooping Cough Booster Shot

California law requires all students entering seventh grade to be immunized with a pertussis (whooping cough) vaccine booster called Tdap. Students must show proof of having had the vaccine before the first day of school. Students will not be allowed to enter school, participate in sports, or receive a class schedule until they submit proof of immunization.

Measles, Mumps, and Rubella Vaccine also Required

Students entering seventh grade must also show proof of having had two doses of the Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) immunization.

If you have any questions please contact our school nurse at vhansen@husd.com
